Gerald MUKYENGA

Gerald MUKYENGA is a Regional and International Logistician, with extensive and many years’ experience in Cargo Freight Logistics based in the East Africa Partner States and the Great Lakes Region.

Gerald’s career in Customs Clearing, Freight Forwarding and Transportation Logistics started in the Year 1992. He started working with Intercontinental Forwarders Limited (1992-1996) from which he moved to an international Transport Organization Kuehne & Nagel (1996 – 2002) In the Year 2002, he founded Multilines International Limited Group one of the top indigenous Cargo Freight Logistics Companies in East Africa with local knowledge and experience but with international outreach and interconnectivity. He has been the majority shareholder, Director and Group Managing Director of the Group (2002 – 2020) till recently in the Year 2020 when he has been appointed by the Board of Directors to Group CEO position. Gerald Mukyenga has been instrumental in driving change in the East African Freight Forwarding Industry and is highly regarded when it comes to ethics and professionalizing the industry.

He sits at several Boards in the Region including the Freight Forwarding Association, Chambers of Mines, Petroleum, Chamber of Commerce.

Julie Mutoni

She is one of the shareholders and Managing Director of Multilines International Rwanda ltd. Prior joining MULTILINES INTERNATIONAL RWANDA Ltd, she started her professional career with DHL Express Rwanda in the year 1996 as the customer service supervisor for Document Handling Limited (DHL), which was an agent of DHL International in Rwanda. In the Year 1999 she moved on to become the sales Manager of Speed Bird. In 2004 Mrs Julie was appointed as Country Manager of Gill Trading Ltd the agent of DHL Express Rwanda.

Mrs Julie was very instrumental in driving change and implementing new innovative processes and strategies that led to the growth of DHL express in Rwanda, and this facilitated the status change of DHL Express Rwanda operating under agents to a full DHL Brand in Rwanda since 2015 and was appointed the Country Manager of DHL Express Rwanda.

Mrs Julie is a proactive business woman with adequate experience in the logistics sector. She is also highly passionate about International strategic network partners, customers, employees and stakeholders by meeting and exceeding their expectations hence sustainable business success.

Based on her experience, Mrs. Julie Mutoni sits on various Board of Directors meetings whereby she is currently the Board Chairperson of Letshego Rwanda PLC, the board Vice chairperson of Rwanda Freight Forwarders Association (RWAFFA), and she also sits on the board of FEAFFA (Federation of East African Freight Forwarders Associations).
